Join us at YBIC this Saturday, September 26th for a day of FREE admission! You can expect lots of atlatl throwing, guided tours, and plenty of helpful staff around to answer your questions about Yukon's Ice Age history. It's a great opportunity for you to learn how the past has shaped the Yukon we love today, and even if it isn't your first time in, there are always new things to learn here.
A summary of what you can expect:
- Guided tours (~45 minutes) at 11:00am and 2:45pm, with staff available for spot interpretation throughout the day.
- Our 17-minute film, Crossroads of the Continents, will be showing several times (10:30, 11:45, 12:30, 1:15, 2:00, 3:30, and 4:15).
- Atlatl demonstrations (~15 minutes) conducted following each film showtime shown above.
