Ask a Conservator 2.0: Your Questions Answered - With Valery Monahan, Yukon Museums Conservator
For this week's #BCST we're excited to present Yukon Museums Conservator Valery Monahan's rescheduled presentation for #AskAConservator Day!
The idea for this talk is simple: you ask a question about conservation and a conservator answers. Maybe you're curious if mothballs actually work, or maybe you're wondering how ice age mummies like Zhùr were conserved before going on display? All these questions and more will be answered during this special edition BCST!
In addition to the Q&A, Valery will also present on some of the exciting conservation projects she has worked on. Not only has her work included objects from numerous museums, but it has also included items from the Yukon archaeology and palaeontology collections.
