Snow Globes, Science, and Snowtime! --La Guerre des Tuques
Sunday, December 24 – 12 to 4 pm Snow-globes, Science, and Snowtime! (Craft and Movie)
This Sunday we will explore the science behind a white Christmas, and we will even dissect winter itself. While much of the world languishes under the harshness of a tropical Christmas (how bad is that?), we get to enjoy the cool freshness of a white Christmas. Come make your own glittery snow-globe, and learn how special a Yukon winter really is …and how other parts of the world ….are jealous of us! We will also show the film La Guerre des Tuques (Snowtime!) in both French and English. (Admission by donation to the Whitehorse Food Bank)
