If you think it is amazing what scientists can figure out from old bones, wait till you see what they can do when they get the hair, skin and even innards! This was the case for a Steppe Bison found in Alaska in 1979. Nicknamed Blue Babe, this bison has given us a unique glimpse into our ice age past, and spoiler alert …it was pretty wild.
Come see and touch real bison fossils as we tell the incredible true story of Blue Babe, all this to inspire you to create an ice age masterpiece that just might find its way into our Christmas décor. Pajamas and pillows are welcome!
