Rendezvous with Beringia!

While looking for gold in the Klondike, miners stumbled across something that may even be more valuable than gold: …bones. Not just any bones, but bones of exotic ice age critters like woolly mammoths and scimitar cats. Through the years scientists have collected quite assortment of body bits, and have used them –along with other discoveries –to paint a pretty clear picture of what was going on up here during the ice age.

Come by our KidsFest tent at Shipyards Park, test your knowledge of Beringian animals, and see if you can dig up more clues about Yukon’s Ice Age past!
