It might seem strange –Yukoners at Sea –but this was no fiction, it was the real life adventure of seven of our own, who participated in various legs of the Canada C3 (Coast to Coast to Coast) voyage this last summer. The Canada C3 Expedition marked Canada 150 by circumnavigating Canada’s coastlines from Toronto to Victoria via the Northwest Passage over 150 days. They visited incredibly remote and spectacular places, including the High Arctic, Haida Gwaii, Herschel Island, and the Great Bear Rainforest and had deep conversations around the themes of Reconciliation, Environment, Youth Engagement, and Diversity. Please join the expedition participants for an evening of storytelling, video and photo-sharing, music, and discussion of how the lessons learned can be applied to build a better Canada for all. This is a free event, open to everyone!
