The Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre is an ideal facility to provide students of all ages with the opportunity to explore Yukon's recent prehistory. Visit the Teacher's Forum for curriculum enhancing materials.

Spring/Fall 2007: The Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre and Innovators in the Schools are both excited to announce a new program:

Bringing Beringia to the Classroom:

Who: K-12 schools in Whitehorse

What: Interactive class presentations at your school led by experienced Beringia staff with an outdoor component of Atlatl dart throwing. Sessions will be individualized to your class needs. Generally allow for at least one hour.

When: Now until May 4 and then again in the fall starting on September 17.

Why: To show Yukon students how exciting pre-history in the Yukon really was!
